It may be August, but there is still time left to apply for grants to help support your farmers market.  LINK Up Illinois is accepting applications for the following grants.

1.The Farmers Market SNAP Support Grant. Provides funding to help pay for staff time and promotional materials for your farmers markets SNAP redemption system.  . 

2.The Double Value Coupon Program provides funding to farmers markets and farm stands for Healthy Food Incentives.  This program promotes a dollar for dollar match to your SNAP shoppers for purchasing products with their LINK card.  

 To qualify, Farmers Markets and Farmers must be authorized to accept SNAP/LINK payment.
