To help celebrate National Farmers Market Week, the Illinois Farmers Market Association (IFMA) hosted its first Paint Nite event to raise funding for IFMA!  It was held at  Arlington’s Restaurant in Springfield, IL on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.  

Paint Night donated a portion of their ticket sales to IFMA which will provide needed support to keep local food growing in Illinois. At Paint Night,  master artist  Ashley Blake provided step-by-step instructions to create a work of art – while we socialized and sipped cocktails.   We all met new friends,  enjoyed one another’s company and went home with a masterpiece entitled  “Barn in the USA”!
